OLLOMONT

A small paradise

Ollomont is located at 1335 meters of altitude in the Valpelline, in a wide wild basin surrounded by a superb chain of peaks. With its 160 inhabitants, it is one of the small gems that Italy offers to mountain and ski enthusiasts: it is the ideal place for those who wish to experience their first thrills on skis, thanks to its small slope and the fun snow playground with bobs and inflatables. Furthermore, it is the starting base for high-level mountaineering ascents, such as to Grand Combin and Mont Vélan, and for ski mountaineering excursions. The notoriety of this enchanting village, which in the past was an important copper extraction center, is today entrusted to its nature, which makes it truly magical.
