LA MAGDELEINE
An enchanting village
At about 1650 meters of altitude and surrounded by vast forests, La Magdeleine is the smallest village in the Valtournenche, counting barely 100 inhabitants. A charming village, still untouched by mass tourism, consisting of five small, simple, and picturesque hamlets, with wooden and stone buildings where it is still possible to find ancient rural constructions such as rascards for hay storage and greniers for storing cereals. It is an ideal resort for beginners and children, thanks to its very easy downhill slope, the magic carpets for the ascent, and the renovated snow playground.
